Mozzarella is a fresh, semisoft cheese of Italian origin. It is sometimes called a ‘pasta filata’, meaning cheese that is cooked and kneaded during its preparation. That is why reheating it produces the stringy results we all know.
Milcobel mozzarella is made from premium quality, pure cow milk. With its smooth, sublime taste, which brings back the full flavour of fresh milk, it has excellent grating and baking properties. The cheese melts wonderfully well on a pizza, forming a delicious light brown crust.

In addition to mozzarella, Milcobel also makes delicious cheddar cheese. Cheddar cheese is a yellow to orange-yellow cheese with a savoury, slightly sharp flavour. As a cheese, it is an ideal complement to many dishes, from gratins to tacos.

Kaasbrik in Halen, Limburg (Belgium) has been a part of the Milcobel family since June 2021.
